Urban Golf Performance Hosts 4th Annual UGP Invitational at The Riviera Country Club to Benefit LAFD Foundation
Public auction launches August 7th at 9:00AM PST, with proceeds benefiting the LAFD Foundation’s mission to equip and support local firefighters.
Los Angeles, CA – On Monday, August 11, 2025, Urban Golf Performance (UGP) will return to The Riviera Country Club to host the fourth annual UGP Invitational, presented by LA GOLF. This charitable golf tournament brings together athletes, business leaders, and supporters of the greater Los Angeles community for a day of golf and purpose. With many in the UGP community personally affected by the Palisades fires, the mission for this year’s UGP Invitational reflects a deepened commitment to rallying around those who serve and protect Los Angeles.
Since its inception, the UGP Invitational has been a celebration of golf and giving, with past proceeds supporting youth development, education, and local nonprofit work. This year marks a meaningful shift: for the first time, the event will benefit the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Foundation—a decision shaped by the wildfires that impacted much of Los Angeles earlier this year.
In support of this year’s beneficiary, UGP and the LAFD Foundation have launched an online auction, running from Thursday, August 7 at 9:00 AM PST through Monday, August 11 at 11:30 PM PST at onecau.se/ugp-invitational. The auction features a curated collection of golf experiences, premium equipment, and signed memorabilia. Auction proceeds will help provide LAFD firefighters with access to critical equipment, mental health resources, and emergency readiness tools not fully covered by the City budget.
Among the featured items is a Limited Edition 2025 TaylorMade Professional Championship Staff Bag signed by Collin Morikawa, a two-time major winner and Los Angeles native. Additional contributions include a signed putter from PGA TOUR professional Kurt Kitayama, as well as gear and experiences donated by partners and supporters across the UGP community.
“The LAFD Foundation has long been a pillar of support for those who protect our city,” said Mac Todd, Founder of Urban Golf Performance. “After seeing the impact of this year’s Palisades wildfires firsthand, we felt a responsibility to rally our community in support. Hosting this tournament at Riviera is always special, but this year it means even more.”
