Min Woo Lee Finishes T12 at the WM Phoenix Open & Tommy Morrison Claims First Collegiate Victory
UGP TOUR showed out at the Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale last week, where Min Woo led with an impressive T12 finish at -13. Beau Hossler, Kurt Kitayama, and Michael Thorbjornsen followed suit with consistent performances, all earning spots in the weekend rounds. David Lipsky, despite a determined effort, fell just short of the cut wrapping up the latest PGA Tour results last weekend.
Future UGP TOUR player and University of Texas junior, Tommy Morrison, began training with Urban Golf Performance in 2024, focusing on building strength, increasing mobility, and improving recovery to elevate his game.
That work was on full display last week as he captured his first collegiate win at the Amer Ari Invitational in Hawaii, sealing his victory in a playoff after posting a collegiate-best 9-under 63 in the final round. Finishing at -21, he helped UT set a new program record with a 56-under team total (808).
A statement win for Tommy, following his historic victory as the first American to win the European Amateur last year—and he’s just getting started.
UGP's Allisen Corpuz posted a T23 finish with a final-round 66 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando, FL.
Looking ahead, our UGP athletes head to The Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines, while the ladies prepare for their global stage at the Honda LPGA Thailand.
