Mac was born and raised in West Texas, a region rich in golf history. He loved the game and became a successful player early in his junior career, shooting in the mid-60’s and competing in renowned championships. He played in multiple Junior World Golf Championships, Division I collegiate golf, and ranked junior, amateur, and professional golf tournaments.

He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2008, and had a vision to create the ideal human experience in golf— the sport he had played his entire life.

Mac founded UGP in 2013 as a team of one, coaching 60-70 hours a week but loving it. Throughout the years, the team grew exponentially and Mac has impacted countless individuals not only in their careers but their lives. He leads and guides the UGP Team like family, and continues to inspire those around him.
